sick
well the kids are SICK yet agian! We spent $75.00 in the month of January just on Dr Visits. not to even mention the medicine that we bought. UGH. I am so tired of them being sick and looking at me as if I can make them better. I am failing miserably at that part. I hate this Weather and that is the reason that they are constantly ill. Runny nose, cough, low fevers....on and on. I love my children so much that I can barely even breathe at times. I just want them better.

Oh girl! I am so there with you. My kids have been sick this whole week too. Not fun!!!!! What are some things they are telling you to do for them??
not much...just to use tylenol for AUdrey for comfort, Motrin for Caleb for comfort. for the cough use the pedicare, or dimetapp if I want(though they say that it really does not help), they suggested using honey that is local(since it is some what allergy realated as well and you want the pollen from the area to help). using humidifier, nasal saline and plenty of liquid. well both of them ended up with an ear infection after the snot and the cough, so then we get the Amox and ear drops.....ugh. Caleb came home last night from Sharons running 102 temp and ear ache again. so I dosed him up with ear drops, motrin and the poor thing slept from 6pm to 2:30am got a popcicle and a juice, then slept from 3:30am to 6:30am. but today aunt sharon said he was back to himself. and I can say tonight he has been acting like my Caleb. so yes, the snot, coughing, whining, and yes even the puking has occured at our house...I just want it over and the weather to stay cold or get warm. seeing the samething at work too.
The best thing we found was the pedicare popcicle for cough...hard to find but they work and they taste pretty good GRAPE!
THe Rooster has good childrens vitamins and cold stuff that is where we got the honey...it is from the family that live up on triple lakes road(Alle will know them). they also have a good tea to mix the honey in and that seemed to help Caleb. hope that helps.
