6 MONTHS

Well Audrey has turned 6 months. Hard to believe. She is getting so big to fast. Went to the Dr today and she weighs 16 lbs. (50% for her age) 27 1/4 inches (95% for her age) 10% hair (poor thing, Miracle Grow here we come) 4 shots. SO all in all she is healthy, and Dr says at this stage she will be super model material.....not sure where she gets those genes from, but Thank you who ever you were. Now that is not to say that it will stay that way, she could end up short, fat and ever so sassy. The sassy part she will come by honestly, hmm, from me of course. SHe is just to cute. She loves her daddy, and her bubba (which by the way was her first word)is her favorite person. Her little face just lights up when she sees him. The feeling is returned from Caleb. She is his sissy and no one had better mess with her. Poor guy she will date someday. Though I am sure she will put the girl he will be with through the ringer. Thank GOd for healthy babies.

And life goes on

Okay...so my yesterday was pretty bad. One where when you wake up you think...I should just stay in bed.....but no I get up, drag the kiddos out, off to work I go....only to find out that we are short staffed yet again. so as I run in every direction possible, and do this do that for the Dr's that I work for, I finally get to breathe.....as the day winds down, my last pt, I bring her back to the exam room, and I turn around to get the blood pressure cuff, go back to speak to her and she is slumped in the chair...I call her name no response.........I call her again, now I notice her gray color, no breath, I feel for a pulse......NOTHING. I call for the nurse on the floor, she comes in does the same thing that I just did, we call for the Dr...she yells at me. then comes into the room and tells us to take her to the ER(which is right across the street). The pt had died, just in about 5 min. of time...WOW. how presious life is, one minute here gone the next. Life goes on today, but I still see her, I still see the look on her daughter in laws face. I still hear that LAST breath. in then slowly out, then nothing. What can I say, I did pray for her and her family, I cried alittle for her, thought about loved ones that had passed. Yet life goes on....I really want this to change me, but I do not know how to go about it. I do not want to take one minute for granted. I want you to know that if you are reading this how much I love you., respect you, cherish you as a friend. I am blessed because of you. I do not tell you often enough, but I DO!

a date with Caleb

we finally had a date with Caleb. He seemed to enjoy the time but said that he missed Sissy and that he wanted her to come on the next date. He sure does love her. We took him to the Rodeo at the St Charles Family arena. it was a really good show and they had more than just bull riding. I am not a fan of the PBR. Let me just say that even though the arena there is small, the cowboys used the whole thing. Michael got us 4th row VIP seats so we were close to the action. He was so cute and became quite excited with the broncs and the bulls..he did get to see someone get hurt and taken off on a stretcher. he was not so sure about it then, he was mad at the bull for hurting that cowboy, but then soon forgot it all when the next one came out buckin. I must say that I had the 2 most handsome cowboys in the whole place. This was part of Christmas and doing so well on the potty thing. it was worth every penny we spent. I enjoy the moments that I have with my family. We had a great time, Caleb got a trick rope, and had lasode daddy a few times. today he has riden the bulls(on his tetertotter bike), acted like he was a rough and tuf cowboy, in his big boy pants and t shirt and socks. He is something else. Thank God for my cowboys, they light up my life!
