here or my kiddos on the dock right down from the cabin. the water was about 2 to 3 feet deep. it was so nice.

Here is a picture that I took on morning. I was sitting there for some quiet time and this is the view I had. I think it turned out to be one of my favorite pictures. Maybe I should make it into a calendar.

Here is the cabin that we stayed in. this is looking up from the hill by the dock. it was a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen. eating area, and a living room. air condition/heating, wrap around deck with Adirondack chairs. It was really nice. It had a T.V. with satellite, though we really did not watch it that much. The white birch tree and pine trees were the other view that we had from the windows. Thankfully I did not have to rough it to bad. we had 10 people in our cabin, but we were related so that was good. Our pastor, Pastor Gerald was there with us so my kids were able to get to know him and that was AWESOME! He was so encouraging to me with what he said. Thank God for him.

getting back to the swing of things

okay so while on vacation we had not accidents, but sense we have been home I have managed to fall down the basement steps. Purple is definitely my color.
I go back to work on Monday and I am not really wanting to. I have enjoyed my time at home (except for the above mentions incident). Caleb started Pre-K this week and he loves it. It will do him good to be with other kids his age learning. Monica and Pam he is really doing good so far so thanks for all the hard work with him.
His teacher is Mrs. Diltz and she seems to really be into the whole teaching this age, so that makes me feel better and she really keeps an eye out for her group of kids. He has came home with the excitment and wanted to know why he could not stay all day. of course this is all still new to him, but so far so good.
Me on the other hand I was good until after we left him, then I had my moment. At least it was not infront of him. I am so proud of him.

here is a picture of the kids playing at the little beach that they had at the camp. Yes the water was that clear. It was a spring fed lake so it was cold at first then you just got used to it and it felt pretty good. The weather during the day as at the high 75 degrees and at night it got down to the upper 30's. It was wonderful. You could breathe and at night the sky so black but clear that you could see about a million stars. Caleb was impressed that there were so many "wishing stars".

Here is my princess. One of her sweet moments, just sitting there looking so pretty. she had such a good time and she was really good.

here is my big man with his faux hawk. what you cannot see is that it is blue. Does he not look like a rebel. Camo pants, shades and the hair. I love it. he had a great time in the outdoors and he did a great job of hanging with the guys. I will post the picture of his fish later.

Oh Canada

this is the scene from our cabin in Canada. It was so nice and the water crystal clear.

Home at last

While we had a great time in Canada, I am so glad to be home. The scenery was beautiful, the people a bit flaky(a little to many drugs), family time was GREAT! All in all it was a very good trip. On Friday we drove straight through and made it in about 18 hours, on the way home we went to Ely,MN(nice town)and then stopped for the night in Rice Lake, WI. Then we drove on home from there. so the drive home took about 19 hours. So long time in the car, but the time together was priceless.
