Arthur Picnic

we went to the Arthur in the Park Picnic today. the lines were so long and there were so many people. we did not get to see Arthur, CLifford, ELmo, Cookie Monster, but we did get to see Digit(bird from Cyberpsace)Miguel and girl.Mya(sp), and the got pics with Teletubbie background. but mostly it was just being outside in the fresh air...Caleb was with his favorite people...Hannah, EMily ,Joseph, Sami, KAyleigh, Timothy. of course Aunties Monica, San and Uncle Allen was there and so was Gamma Vella. DeeAnn was there too. we then walked around for bit before we left and Caleb got to see some fish and 2 ducks, that made his day. once in the car we did not make it out of the park and he was asleep. AUdrey slept through the while thing, what a goodDaddy will probably never go back, and that is okay. If there could have been characters walking around that would relieve the lines, but it was all about the kiddos today.sooooo.
this is a picture of the gazebo that is by the muny. Michael and I had our engagement pictures taken by this gazebo. It was nice to revisit it 12 years later.

pics of my kids

here are some of the latest pics of the kiddos. I know that I am completely in love with them and love to talk about them all the time, but hey that is my God given right. They are truly adorable. but then look who their mommy is......
My little man sleeping, and then his oh I got caught better say s
omething cute or do something cute.
I am lucky that I got these pics, he will not cooperate with me to get any snap shots unless he is in a good mood.

This one pic of Audrey afte we had a mother daughter talk about her throwing a fit...is as if she is say "I got it mom, " WINK! WINK! I have met my match with her. I cannot wait till she gets older and our relationship is like my mom and me.
THis is her pre fit throwing, I am telling you that it is all about her and if you do not pay her the attention she wants when she wants it....well it is all over. then her sleeping like a little princess.

Where am I??????

I have been asking myself this question daily. I sometimes feel like I am meeting myself coming and going. Such is life these days. It seems like we are even more busy than before. One of us is constantly gone, Caleb told us the other night that he needed to just stay home, so that he could play. I tried to explain to him that we had to get other things done and that required us to be gone. He told me to hurry up so that we could talk. When asked what he wanted to talk about , he told me "I love you and need tention(short for attention). He gets to me and knows it. SO of course I stopped right there and gave him some extra time. Normally it would have gotten to the OCD part of me, but I have to stop and take advantage of those moments that can be stolen and live and love in it.
It is so amazing how a child changes your perspective and how they make you look at things so different. Last night Caleb came across a garden snake, he was mesmerized by it. The little boy up the street came and cut it's head, to which Caleb promptly replied "COOOOL". I said gross. He just stood there staring at it, wanting to know why it wasn't moving any more, and then thought if we prayed that Jesus would heal it like the man in the book(the cripple man in the Bible). I did not know how to explain that one. The faith of a child, no wonder why GOd wants us to have that type of faith. Unwavering, unquestioned, so pure. Thank you Lord for my precious children that remind me daily of you grace, mercy and love. I truly am blessed.

this past week

(Caleb and Ethan @ Fort Bellefontain)

We went to the Lewis and CLark event at FOrt Bellefontain(the last stop before St. Louis), it was pretty exciting to see where they stayed that last night. It was a nice little walk down a very steep hill, we coiuld have used the grand staircase(made of limestone)but there was no way that I was going to try to maneuver a stoller down it (see picture laster of the stair case). then to walk where they had walked was pretty interesting. wonder what they saw, who they met. I do have to say that I am by no means a back woods gal, give me the modern conveniences and I am happy. We were so busy that we did not even get to take a family photo.
(view from the top of the staircase)
(view from the side of th staircase)
(view from the bottom of the staircase)
As I have said I truly prefer todays accomodations, and the nearest Holiday Inn. WHile I like to camp and will camp this way 1 weekend out of the year, when I get home I kiss the ground, my bed, my 4 walls that I call home.

this week

this week has been slow at work but to fast at home. we celebrated our 10 year anniversary on THursday. what a awesome husband I have. I came in from work to find 2 dz peachy pink roses, they are gorgeous and smell even better. He made supper for us, and we had a great family night. On friday night my parents came over and watched the kids so that we could go on a date. We went to Maggiano's (YUM) our favorite place, and we sat at a very romantic table, and just talked. At first it seemed strange not to have the kids there and that we were not talking over Caleb and is millionth WHY. We missed them because we were home by 8:30 pm and had left at 6. I do not think they missed us though. Thanks mom and dad again for keeping them and for being such great mawmaw & pawpaw.
Michael , I love you so much, and I am so proud to be your wife. You are one in a million. You are the best friend, lover, sweetheart, and daddy that I could ever aske for. God blessed me with you and I am amazed.
Today we went to Fort Bellefontain (one of the last place Lewis & Clark stayed before they got to St Louis) it was actually pretty neat. It made me stop and wonder what it was like back then, who did they see, what did they do. How did they feel. but I am glad for todays modern conveniences, I am by no means a back woods gal.
Well I had better go tend to a calling child.

10 YEARS of MARRIAGE

Today is our 10th Wewdding anniversary. Wow how time flies, especially when you are having fun. Hard to believe that 10 years ago I was walking down the isle, changing my life and entering someone elses forever. Through the hard times, fun times, sad times, happy times, we have remained friends, lovers and most important keepers of the faith. God has blessed me with a wonderful man, he is a hard worker, great husband, awesome father, and a Godly leader of our family. I am so thankful for him. I know that I do not tell him enough what he means to me, so I hope that in the little ways I am able to show him. the pics are of the roses that I walked in the door from work to find, they are a pale, pale, peachy pink, and smell great. there were so many that I could not get them all in the pic.
Monica and Allen's anniversary is 9/22/06, happy anniversary guys. Monica we did pretty good.
Michael David Ham I just want you to know that I love you so bery much and I am so proud of you! You are AWESOME!

JUST ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE

NOT! ugh, I really need to pray through over this place. I am really struggling today with work, and not wanting to do it. Caleb did not have a good morning, so that just makes it that much harder. I have been back to work a total of 5 days and have gained 3lbs back. yuk.
it looks like this weekend will be a rainy one, not good for the family outing we had planned. Maybe the sun will shine enough for us to get it in though.
I am so relieved that they found Baby ABby, Caleb and I had just prayed about it and then they found her. He told Jesus that he did a good job, and thanks for finding that gurl. he is just too funny sometimes. He told Audrey that they had found the baby that was lost from her mommy and daddy, and that he and Audrey should not talk to the bad mans cause they might be gone. He then said that mommy and daddy would pray and Jesus would have to do another job. Amazing how their little minds work.

new week

This is the beginning of a new week. God has been truly faithful this past week. I am amazed that when we trust in him he is always there. While I am not saying that this past week was easy, but I was able to get through it. Caleb had some rough patches, and Audrey did just fine(she slept through it). The old saying is true that we are our worst enemy. I can make myself feel so guilty. THey are in great hands with Aunt SHaron and Uncle Cecil.
Today went to a Pampered Chef party for Monica, and had some delish Fruit Salsa. If only I had millions of dollars to spend.
Well I hope that everyone has a great week. Keep the faith and trust in God

Duck/Goose Whisper

Here is my duck/goose whisperer(sp). In the one picture he is counseling a little duck and the other he is telling the geese to "behave". as you can see most of them are not listening and walking away from him. He just could not understand when he told them to "come here geese" that they would not listen to him, so he would tell them louder to "come here". It was just too cuteS

Caleb's Day

Today we went to the park and fed the ducks and geese. Here is a picture of Caleb sitting by the pond. We had a great time. He loves the outdoors and if it is hunting or fishing he is right there. I think that I have another Grizzy Ham on my hands.

Day to recover

Well I have taken today off from work to help myself , Caleb and Audrey recover from going back to work. It has been very hard on me, but by God's grace I am getting through. Michael has been a rock of support and I think feels bad that this is the stituation at this time. He knows how badly I want to stay home, believe me I have made that clear. I am still believing in God that this willbe possible. I have been holding to the promise "that he will give you the desires of you heart," and reminding God about that promise daily.
But on a brighter side of things, my boss has been very good at helping me get back into the swing of things. I walked in on Monday and my desk was decorated, a huge sign was up welcoming me back. That was nice and a big surprise. Wednesday 9/13/06 the docs treated us all to a baseball game at the new stadium in the Bank of America suite($90.00 a ticket), it was nice but we lost(to the Asros). DId get to see Albert's backside and I must say it is very nice. everyone got to let their hair down for a bit and we had a great time.
Came home and supper was ready. WHAT A BLESSING.
well that is all that I have for now. this is my first attempt
